The Gambling Commission (Great Britain) and The Office of Responsible Gambling (New South Wales, Australia) were winners of IAGR’s inaugural International Regulatory Awards.
The winners were announced on 14 September 2021 at a Gala Dinner in Boston, during the annual IAGR conference.
The awards aim to recognise exceptional regulators who are helping to drive the industry forward. They were judged by a committee made up of IAGR Trustees and independent stakeholders.
The awards currently have five categories, International regulator of the year, Regulatory excellence, Regulatory innovation, Best regulatory campaign and Regulatory rising star.
